Here's my review of The Dark Knight. It doesn't officially go up until Thursday morning, but hey, we're all friends here, right?

Hey, kids! You like to read, dontcha? You like to read books about great record albums, dontcha? You like to read in-depth music criticism disguised as a novella about a failed musician, dontcha? Well, then, here's a book for you! My good pal and High Hat cohort Hayden Childs has written about Richard and Linda Thompson's Shoot Out the Lights for the 33 1/3 series, and it looks a little something like this:



By way of publicizin', there will be a book release party this Saturday night at the Carousel Lounge in Austin, with live readings and various bands performing the musics.
