The bones of the 1980s have been so thoroughly picked over by VH1 and the like, it’s almost impossible for those of us who grew up in that era to have a surprising moment of nostalgia anymore. I said almost! Thanks to the Surviving Grady blog, I have had such a moment today and I now share it with you.

What?! I don't remember this. I this there might be some serious CGI used here. Oh man.
You don't remember it? This was a "cruising around in Nick's Yugo" classic!
I should rephrase... I remember the song but not Dennis DeYoung jumping around in a Tom Waits hat while prancing around in an unsightly manner. And I was one of those "rush home to MTV on Sunday night to see the new video" people.
